My close friend is currently mine and my husbands gestational carrier and we are due in Feb 2020. We thought these would be an amazing idea so she could wear them while at work or at home and the baby could listen to our voices. The sound is great - and there is even a quiet mode feature so you do not make it too loud for baby. The VoiceShare app that is used with the Belly Buds is also easy to use. We created an account, then had our surrogate sign into the app on her phone with our login that way we don't have to be with her when she has them on. We love this product and only began using it about a week and half ago as that is the point in our pregnancy when baby began hearing. He is already reacting to our voices when he listens, so it's been a huge milestone for us. HIGHLY recommend, especially for any surrogacy journey so the IPs can create a bond with their baby before birth!

I didn't give the "adhesion" rating five stars because the sticky part ended up irritating my skin a bit, and became uncomfortable. However, it was VERY sticky! No chance of it falling off. I would go grocery shopping, or clean the house / unpack boxes, and the headphones never moved. I am so glad I bought this item. Even with the adhesive giving me a little trouble, I just removed them and used standard medical tape to tape the headphones to my stomach; fixed the problem in an instant. *Note: they use a standard auxiliary jack; be sure to purchase an adapter separately if you have an iPhone*

This was a great option as we had to use a gestational carrier. This was a best way for us to provide our voices while she carried. Highly recommended for those who either have a surrogate or gestational carrier. Also, could be used for family members who are not close by.

These are so worth it!!! I started playing music through the Belly Buds & within minutes, my little “jelly bean” started moving (now 24 weeks). I love the idea of introducing the little one to some of our favorite tunes while they’re still in the womb, & I can’t wait to see if they recognize the songs once they’re out! Also love that the app enables you to record messages or stories for the baby — especially for grandparents who live far away! Sound quality is great & these are worth every penny.

I always planned on playing music for my baby while they were in the womb so I was happy to find that they make systems like this that make it easy to do just that.
The pack comes with everything you need and includes the Bellybuds, an audio splitter so that you can listen to the same music, and multiple reusable gel sticky pads to adhere the belly buds to the belly. It would have been nice to have had an included headphones/earphones for the price but most people have a bunch of them nowadays so I don’t think it’s too big of an omission.
They are fashioned in a baby/mommy/family friendly look which is fine. The quality seems reasonably put together and I don’t worry about having them functioning for years and hopefully more children to come.
Functionally they are pretty simple and easy to use and the cord is suitably long. It is nice that they have a small post and pre switch for post birth and prebirth listening levels. It just limits the volume but not to a certain level so you can still turn the volume up or down on your phone or music device until you find a comfortable level.
We haven’t used the sticky gel pads and have just been laying them on my wife’s belly while she’s laying down. The speakers do a good job of holding onto the skin without the pads so it’s nice to not have to use them if you don’t need to.
Overall I think they’re great and make playing music for the womb very easy. The price is ok for what you get although I think it could come down $5-$10. It’s hard to say what effect listening to a variety of music will have for my child specifically but everyone loves great music so it is still easy to recommend.

I bought these because my boyfriend & I didn’t like having to use headphones to play the baby music. These were way more comfortable and I believe safer for the baby. The adhesives are a great add on. I was able to play music for my baby while I worked. Also as the baby grew, I was able to feel him kick more when I played music which was very nice. We didn’t really use the app but I think it’s a nice feature. What I really liked about these BellyBuds was that there is a “pre” & “post” -natal setting that ensures a maximum level of sound that’s safe for the baby.

This thing is awesome! First off after reading through 6574651 reviews I decided to just throw the adhesives away which left me with the speakers and the little carrying pouch. The speakers themselves have 2 sound levels low and high, and obviously these levels can be adjusted further using your sound source settings (phone, laptop, etc.) I made my baby a playlist of a classical, lofi, and a little EDM and baby starting going wild when the lofi tracks came on. I guess my baby likes the chill vibes! Anyways this is a great product for the price and if you ignore the adhesives then it's perfect. Might be a good idea for the company to make a USB-C version though sometime really soon.
**IMPORTANT - I made the mistake of not paying attention and missed the fact that this is plugged in through an aux jack which means if you plan to use your phone to play music and you don't have a port then you need to buy an aux to USB-C adapter.

My husband and I used a surrogate mom, We tried to communicate with our baby by talking directly to her (gestational) womb, but it was really difficult to express ourselves. So we decided to find other options and Thank God we found this Bellybuds headphones and with their app 'voiceshare' we were able to record stories, memories, playlists, sing songs to our little one and our surrogate mom was so kind to play all our library directly to our baby. I trully believe that babies recognize mom and dad voices and creates a connection by listening to their voices, so don't feel discourage if you are in a similar situation. In some occasions I watched when my surrogate mom play the recordings to my baby and she was definitely listening and moving. That for us was priceless and it was worth it.

My husband got these for our baby when I was pregnant and I have to say I liked them more than I thought! They stuck onto my belly really well, without leaving any kind of weird sticky residue. The best part is we can listen along with her. This was really special for my husband who is craving ways to feel more connected to our daughter while she's still in my belly. Sound quality is really good as well.

The stickiness stops being so sticky after a while but they give you extra adhesive but i just put it in my shirt or laying down put it to my skin and it works great. It would probably pop off if i were to play music while moving about the house. But before bed works perfect so no issues. I dont use the max volume because you dont want it to be too loud for baby but she seems to love it and dances to the music so im sure shes enjoying it. I bought this at 17 weeks and im still using daily and loving it.

I’m not sure how I stumbled across this product but I’m glad I did. I initially thought this would be a good way to connect with my child in utero. And it was. However, the results were much more than that. I played one song on repeat at night around 16+ weeks when our child was awake and moving in utero. It often seemed like she would “fall asleep” in the womb to finally allow mom to get some much needed rest.
After about 3 days, she was crying hysterically and didn’t know what else to do to calm her. We played the one song I played on repeat. She was calm and silent, instantly. I had tears of joy - not only that it worked to quiet her but that I truly did bond with my child over the song throughout my pregnancy. At three months, she still calms down and is quiet to the song. There is not a doubt in my mind the song will one day be her father-daughter dance song at her wedding. I am so happy I took a chance on this product. It will create a lifetime of memories for you and your child if it works for your child as it did for ours.
So the packaging is a bit fancy, probably a bit of overkill trying to justify the higher price for what is essentially earbuds and the very fancy app that can be used with these BellyBuds.
Put them on with a lovely playlist a friend made for me on Spotify and baby responded within just a few moments...so many little kicks.
I like the idea that later on it has potential to help baby turn into the correct position. I've not had an issue with that before but useful to know.
If you want to splash out and have all the extra features that the app provides then do it. Otherwise just use regular old earbuds. Enjoy!

I bought these for my pregnant wife, who was very excited to play some music for our baby. They're easy to use, easy to control the volume, they adhere well and release well, without residue. We would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to play some music for their baby. Also, get the recommend additional adhesive pack, can't hurt to have more opportunity to play music for your little one!

Coming from a big music lover, I LOVED these to help introduce music to my baby.
I see many people complain about the app, but besides recording a few voice messages for my babygirl to hear my voice and daddy’s, I would really just use this with Spotify.
The adhesives have lasted most of my pregnancy and are just now not sticking but I’m 2 weeks from birth and always made sure my belly was clean and I put them back on the plastic adhesive when they weren’t in use.
Here I am at 38 weeks, playing the same songs for my girl and she always shows me movement when I play music for her. Then while music plays, I play with her by slightly pushing on my stomach and she pushes back up.
It helps me know where she is because she’ll move towards the earbud.
I am definitely packing this in my hospital bag to play for her and to (hopefully) move her towards the earbuds.
I see many complaints but don’t think it comes from music lovers and only from people trying to benefit solely off the app, the adhesive power and other non important things that I use these buds for. Music lovers, play your favorite tracks and your baby will start to remember the songs, get excited and play with you while you bond with her! She made me tear up a few times because I feel like our hands were touching and we were connected over a beautiful song.
Product is amazing I like this item because the volume is Extremely Loud To be honest I wonder if it's too loud so most times I keep it at a lower volume don't want to blow my baby eardrums before my baby is born I like the fact that it comes with it double adapter piece so I can listen along with whatever I have the baby listening to
Vanessa Goodluck
Such a great idea. Can use with any music/sound app on your phone but also comes with access to the Voice Share app which my family and I love since we all live far from each other. I’m 5 months pregnant and Baby really reacts to the sounds whenever I put something on for him.
*Adhesive on these is good if you keep your belly very clean and dry. Comes with two sets of adhesive.
I put on the buds and then hold them in place with my belly band so I won’t have to order any more.

The product is working great! I love that our little girl can listen to myself, my husband, and other friends/relatives sing and read to her! I started playing some baby music from YouTube and she started kicking away right away. Such a great design and wonderful product as my husband gets to bond with her in a way we didn’t think would be possible until we received bellybuds

I love it! My first pregnancy I had a belt that played music 10 years ago but this is so much easier and I love that my iPod isn’t close to my stomach. Amazing product!!!
