Mom uses BellyBuds speakers to play voice messages for baby in the womb from family living 2,000 miles away!

It all started when mom-to-be Paola met her husband while studying in college. Though it was not love at first sight (Paola jokingly reminds him that she thought his ego was too big when they first met) they became good friends. Soon enough, he started asking her out on dates and the two became a couple at the young ages of 18 and 20. Just six years later, they were married on July 26, 2014.

In March, the couple was happily surprised to find out that they were expecting! They went to the pharmacy and bought an at-home pregnancy test as soon as they suspected. “The first thing I did when we got home was take it; then I waited the longest 3 minutes of my life” remembers Paola. She and her husband checked the test together; they were ecstatic when the test came back positive!

Paola currently lives over 2,000 miles away from her extended family, and uses BellyBuds® speakers to play their voices to her little one. The flat speakers adhere gently to mom’s baby bump and safely play music and voice messages to baby in the womb.

While visiting her family in Puerto Rico, a long flight from where she currently lives in Oklahoma, she was gifted BellyBuds by her Mom. The effect is the same as talking to baby in the womb, but loved ones can bond with baby even if they cannot be physically nearby.

Paola continues to use BellyBuds to bond with her baby girl while at home. “I fell completely in love with them.
