You are almost there, ready to welcome home your new baby (can we get a whooo hoo)! Getting ready for your newest addition is exciting, but we know it can be a little nerve-wracking. A million questions fill your head on a daily basis about what to buy for the new baby, how to decorate the nursery, what kind of nursing bra to buy..the list goes on. Fear not we got your back and have compiled our favorite items and to do’s for prepping for your new baby. Now let’s prep!
It’s POTTY time!
Let’s talk about diapers, diaper bags and all things potty related. First let’s talk about which kind of diapers to use. There are a couple main options, cloth or disposable diapers. Both are great options and that will be up to you to decide. There are some amazing cloth diaper brands out there that make it WAY easier than it use to be (heck yeah). If cloth isn’t your cup of tea there are so many amazing disposable diaper options as well and just like cloth diapers brands are excelling in making them better for your baby, the environment and more.
Whatever you may decide to use, stock up! This is not a drill your going to need to stock up, and then stock up your stock pile! By the time your baby's a week old, they will be having at least four to six wet diapers each day. For your baby shower we love the idea of asking attendees to bring a bundle of diapers with them and then be entered into a raffle prize during the shower, this is a win win and a great way to start stocking up on diapers! You'll also need a diaper pail with a tight-fitting lid for all of those diapers you will be going through.
Now let’s talk abut a diaper bag. We love all of the different options of diaper bags that are available from chic purse diaper bags, adorable backpacks to your standard diaper bag there is an option for everyone.
